FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I’m new to yoga. Which class should I attend first?
We LOVE yoga newbies! You’ll find several classes on our weekly schedule that are especially geared towards the beginner – Slow Stretch, Gentle, & Slow Flow are a few favorites.
Do you have any New Client Special Offers?
Yes! Our New Student Special is a great way to check out as many classes as you want for 3 weeks. You can click here to purchase that for $60.
How do I book a class?
View our schedule here or download the Momence App from Apple App Store or Google Play.
Do you allow drop-ins?
Of course! We do recommend signing up in advance since we can never predict when a class will fill up. It is also recommended that you arrive at least 10 minutes before class begins to give yourself time to get settled with everything you need.
What do I get as a Radiance Member?
Yogis that have a Monthly All Access membership at Radiance receive special perks like guest passes to share with friends, discounts on select workshops, and HALF OFF their On Demand Membership!
- To use your guest pass:
Radiance members will receive a special promo code each month via email. >>>Be sure you have your notifications set to receive emails from momence and check your spam folder. If you don’t receive your friend pass promo code by the 5th of the month, or if you simply lost the email, you can request a new one here. Simply share this code with ONE guest, ONE time. They’ll sign up as usual through our website or the momence app, apply this code at checkout, and their class is on us! Please keep in mind that your friend must be attending the same class as you. These passes are on a “use it or lose it” basis, so no rollovers.
- To use your 50% On Demand Discount:
Keep your eyes peeled for your unique discount code included in your monthly member note!
What if I’m running a few minutes late?
Out of respect for our teachers and students, we always try to start and end classes on time which means the door is locked and late arrivals may not be permitted.
What should I bring?
A yoga mat! Using your own mat is the most hygienic way to build your practice, plus it fosters a more personal relationship with yoga. We have some available in case you need to borrow one. Bring a small towel and water bottle as well, especially if you want to try out a heated class.
What should I wear?
No need to bother with fancy, expensive yoga gear- just wear comfortable clothes that move with you and provide decent coverage. Shoes are not usually worn during yoga. Shoes aren’t even worn in the areas of yoga studios where we practice yoga. So if you’re joining a class at one of our studios, please take your shoes off and leave them on a provided cubby.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Class bookings may be cancelled up to 2 hours prior to the start of class without penalty. Inside of that window, cancellations will result in the loss of the class credit and unlimited members incur an automatic $10 fee.
How do I set up ACH direct debit on my account to avoid the credit card fee?
Simply follow these steps:
Login to your Momence account.
Go to ‘My account.’
Remove your existing card(s) on file by clicking the red trash bin icon in the top right corner.
Click ‘Save ACH Direct Debit’ then click ‘Update.’
Follow the steps as directed by Stripe.
You can disconnect your bank account at any point.
Please note: ACH direct debit is currently not available in the Momence app. We’ve found best practice by making your class, package and membership purchases on your desktop through our website before booking your classes in the app if that’s your preferred booking method.
If you are on an auto-renewing membership, Momence will automatically prioritize ACH direct debit as your default payment method, even if you still have a card on file.
Interested in Private Yoga?
Whether you’re just trying out yoga or want to fine tune your existing yoga practice, you’ll benefit greatly from personally-tailored sequences of yoga poses, breathing exercises, and meditation designed by the best teachers we hand-pick to help you meet your wellness goals. This is the fast-track to making deeper progress in your health and happiness. Foster a more regular yoga practice with convenient class times customized for your schedule in a one-on-one environment. Those with special needs or specific wellness goals also benefit because yoga teachers in group classes are more limited in their ability to address personal, private issues. Private yoga ensures you’re practicing the right kind of yoga safely and effectively.
For private events or yoga parties of more than 3 students, the fee is $150 for a one-hour class. This covers the use of props, facilities, and instructor compensation.
