Kristin Richmond

Kristin first discovered Yoga as a form of mind-body medicine around 2009, when a nudge from a friend helped her commit to a gentle home practice as a way to move through the grief of her father’s passing. She quickly fell in love with the way it made her feel, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. She knew she had to follow this path and completed her first teacher training at Blue Lotus Yoga in Raleigh, NC in 2016. A forever student, she has gone on to deepen her studies through multiple 200-hour trainings and is excited to embark on a 300-hour advancement guided by a senior teacher in the lineage of Anusara Yoga in 2023.

Kristin loves to weave seasonal themes and ayurvedic principles into her classes, which are inclusive, light-hearted, and challenging in all the best ways. In her classes and workshops, you can expect never to be forced into shapes, but to be invited to look beyond them as a means of exploring your inner landscape.
