Michele came to yoga in 2012 as a way to complement her dance training and stayed for the strength and sense of peace it brought her. She completed her first training in the Bikram style of yoga in 2015 and moved on to complete her RYT 200 at the Triad Yoga Institute’s Iyengar style in 2020. As a dance professor and choreographer, Michele uses a variety of movement techniques and body awareness practices to enhance her yoga teaching. Known for her lighthearted, yet direct approach, Michele values simplicity, full presence, a little challenge, and a lot of grace in both her own practice and in her teaching.
