When Shannon Rooney discovered yoga, over a decade ago, she was searching for something besides running to fulfill her active lifestyle. She instantly connected with the practice, and it was a perfect fit with her dance background and love of movement. Shannon’s classes are powerful, encouraging you to engage with breath and body in a new way. A certified Pilates instructor, Shannon is a master at weaving core work and balancing postures into her classes to keep you centered and strong. Shannon teaches with clear instruction, coupled with a sense of humor and playfulness, and is able to connect with students of all levels. She obtained her RYT- 500 training through Yoga Works, and is also certified to teach prenatal yoga.

Shannon’s goal is to empower and inspire you to connect to your strength, breath, and overall well-being, and for you to have fun while you are doing it! You will leave her class with a combined sense of empowerment and ease in both your body and your mind.
